Junior Pope stabbed me in the back repeatedly: Yul Edochie breaks silence

Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has finally revealed why he didn’t mourn a person many believed to be his late colleague, Junior Pope.

He said Junior Pope stabbed him in the back repeatedly and promised to give details later.
While Yul didn’t attend the funeral or speak about the death initially, it is widely speculated that he was referring to Junior Pope, who tragically died in a boat accident.

Junior Pope had supported Yul’s estranged wife, May Edochie, after Yul announced his second marriage, which reportedly angered Yul.

This has led many to assume that Yul’s recent post was directed at the late actor.
In a controversial post, Yul stated that he refrained from commenting on the person’s death until after the funeral because he considered him a brother and had supported him.
However, when Yul needed support in return, he felt betrayed.

Yul expressed his intent to share more details soon, suggesting that others could learn from his experience.

He emphasized the importance of being cautious about what one wish for others, as it might come back to one.
“I didn’t want to say anything till after his burial. I know many asked why I wasn’t there. Why I haven’t said anything about it since. I took him like a brother and good friend. I was there for him when he needed me.

“But he stabbed me in the back, repeatedly. That’s LIFE. I’ll drop the full details soon so others can learn from it.
Be careful what you wish people, it could come to you,” he said.
