Veteran Nollywood actor, Kanayo Kanayo has hailed Victor Osimhen, the Super Eagles and Napoli striker, after the Super Eagles’ triumphant victory over Cameroon in the ongoing 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON)
The Nation reported that the Super Eagles made Nigerians proud at the ongoing AFCON, defeating Cameroon to reach the quarterfinals with 2-0.
Excited about the achievement, Kanayo Kanayo sang the praises of Osimhen, declaring him the Footballer of the Year.
Kanayo stated that Victor has shown the stuff a Footballer of the Year is made of.
Congratulating Nigerians, he added that to whom much is given, much is expected.
He said: “Eheeennnn. Victor Osimhen has shown the stuff a footballer of the year is made of. To whom much is given……….Congratulations Nigeria. Football lives here.”
