I didn’t beat Gemini, I was framed’ – Lil Frosh cries out

Nigerian singer and ex-signee of Davido Music Worldwide, DMW, Sanni Goriola Wasiu popularly known as Lil Frosh has begged his former boss to give him a second chance.
Lil Frosh was accused of assault by his ex, Gift Camille popularly known as Cute Gemini in 2020.
Camille’s brother, Michael in a series of posts on social media, alleged that Lil Frosh assaulted Camille on several occasions.

He shared pictures of his sister’s badly bruised face.

Gift had taken to her Instagram page that her estranged boyfriend, Lil Frosh, had hit her to a pulp; a piece of news that took the internet by storm.
The allegation cost him his recording deal with Davido as his contract with DMW was terminated.

To back up her claims, Gift had shared some photos of her swollen face online.

Lil Frosh, however, took to the internet to deny the domestic violence allegations melted against him while stating that he did not lay his hands on her and that the photos shared online were those of Gift when she was having an allergic reaction.
The Nigerian police on Thursday, February 4, 2021, invited Lil Frosh for questioning but detained him in their custody.

The singer was later arraigned before a Yaba magistrate court and remanded in Ikoyi prison.

Camille later withdrew her case against Lil Frosh in 2022, after settling out of court.

However, on Saturday in a post on his Instagram page, the singer claimed innocence and begged Davido for another chance to revive his career.
God knows I didn’t beat Gemini, I was framed, I was blackmailed. I still can’t get my career after all I paid her because of the lies that were told against me.

“Nobody gave me listening ears. I tried to explain to my ex-boss @davido but he didn’t want to listen because of his zero tolerance for hitting women. Help me beg Davido to give me a chance again.”

Sharing a photo collage depicting the genesis of Gemini’s allergic reactions, starting from behind her ears, Lil Frosh appealed to Davido to reconsider reinstating his contract at DMW Records.
He said: “See how everything started on her face, it started with a reaction that caused a boil, we even went to the pharmacy to check what happened to her.

“Sadly after medications, the conditions worsened and when it became really big they turned the story that I hit her, and presented these pictures as evidence.

“I tried to explain nobody wanted to hear me out, that was the peak of my career, I begged they refused to stop, they collected money and left me empty, no label, no love, turned my fans against me, turned Nigerians against me, at a point I almost ended it all, seeing the people I started music with become way bigger than me, my life was a bad news, no motivation anywhere, please guys help me beg @davido for a second chance.
