Renowned American rapper Kanye West has hinted at retiring from professional music.
In a recent conversation with fellow artiste Rich The Kid, shared by Rich The Kid on his Instagram story, Kanye revealed his thoughts on stepping away from the music industry.
The “Ye” artist expressed uncertainty about his future plans post-retirement, stating, “I am retiring from professional music. Not sure what else to do.”
Rich The Kid tried to persuade Kanye to reconsider, noting the huge cultural influence of their collaborations and the necessity of West’s continued contribution to the music scene.
He encouraged Kanye to think about creating more music together and exploring fashion, but not to retire completely.
Rich wrote, “Drop Ye about mine & V2 and we do it all over again. The kids need you, big bro. Fashion maybe some time to chill but retiring ain’t it.” [Sic].
