How the devil tried to use my trauma against my pregnancy – Debbie Shokoya

Nollywood actress Debbie Shokoya has bravely shared her emotional journey through pregnancy after experiencing the heartache of a previous loss.

In an Instagram post, Shokoya revealed that her initial challenge when she received a medical diagnosis indicating high prolactin levels, which suggested she might not conceive that month.
However, she described how, despite these discouraging results, her faith remained firm. “I thought I lost but God was planning the best for me,” she wrote.

“Result said ‘High Prolactin’ and I shouldn’t bother trying that month until it was normal, but God was smiling and said ‘It’s this month!’”
Shokoya’s message was filled with gratitude as she spoke about how the devil attempted to use her past trauma against her.

Despite these challenges, she believes that God’s support transformed her situation. “The devil tried using my trauma against me on this journey, but God was standing for me,” she shared. “God blessed me beyond how I can describe His love for me!”
In her post, Shokoya expressed her intention to delve deeper into her story on her YouTube channel, “DEBBIE SHOW TV.”

She encouraged her followers to trust in God’s plan, despite the setbacks and obstacles they may face. “When men say there is a casting down, God said, ‘There’s a lifting up!’” she emphasized.

As she celebrated the new month, Shokoya left her fans with an inspiring message: “God is working, and if you believe, He is on your matter and so passionate about you! It won’t happen in your own way; it will happen in God’s way, and trust me… it makes sense.”
