Grammy-winning Nigerian singer-songwriter, Temilade Openiyi, known as Tems, is set to etch her name in history at the upcoming 2024 Billboard Women In Music Event.
This prestigious honour follows her selection as the recipient of the Breakthrough Award at this year’s Women In Music Awards ceremony.
The announcement of the honourees for the 2024 Women In Music Awards was made by Billboard on Wednesday, unveiling a lineup of remarkable talents.
Joining Tems as honourees are stars such as Kylie Minogue, who will receive the Icon Award, Ice Spice as the Hitmaker Award recipient, Victoria Monét as the Rising Star Award recipient, and Young Miko as the Impact Award recipient.
Billboard has disclosed that further details regarding presenters, performers, and additional honourees will be revealed in the forthcoming weeks.
Scheduled for March 6, 2024, the 2024 Billboard Women In Music Event will take place at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California.
