Gospel singer Ada Ehi has called for prayers against terror attacks following a “dream” she and her husband had about Lagos.
She urged citizens to pray “intently and passionately” against terror attacks in Lagos and Nigeria.
The Gospel singer wrote on her X (formerly Twitter) handle: “Last night, my husband and I had a very similar dream.
“Pray against terror attacks in Lagos and Nigeria. Please pray intently and passionately.
“‘He frustrates the devices of the crafty, So that their hands cannot carry out their plans.’ Job 5:12 NKJV.”
Ada Ogochukwu Ehi Moses is a Christian singer-songwriter, recording, and performing artist professionally known as Ada Ehi. Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, in the early ’80s. Ada was introduced into music ministry as a backing vocalist for the child star “Tosin Jegede” around the young age of ten. She attended Lagos State University where she obtained a degree in Chemical and Polymer Engineering.
Since she professionally started her music career under Loveworld Records in 2009, she has increasingly gained local and international popularity through her songs and music videos.
She has since written some of Africa’s inspired gospel anthems, and successfully delivered five other studio albums, including her second album.
Lifted and So Fly”, a two-disc album released in November 2013, “Future Now” released on October 2017, “Ada’s EP Vol.1” a 5 track EP released in 2019. And most recently, her latest album “Born of God” was released in 2020.
Ada Ehi has collaborated with several artists including Nathaniel Bassey, Sinach, Limoblaze, Dante Bowe, Buchi amongst many others.
Ada’s singles have also created a whirlwind of sensation across the world. Most notably, her song ‘Only You Jesus’ currently has over 100 million views on YouTube alone and was listed on YouTube’s top 20 most viewed songs of the decade.
