In Abia State’s Obingwa Local Government Area, a black ambulance SUV was involved in a tragic accident, claiming three lives.
The incident occurred in front of Dacoo Petrol Station along Ikot Ekpene Road, involving tricycles and motorcycles.
Reportedly speeding, the ambulance collided with the vehicles, resulting in three fatalities and multiple severe injuries.
After the accident, the driver, whose sobriety remained unknown, continued speeding until crashing into a nearby bush.
Witnesses and locals mourned the untimely deaths, urging road users to adhere to safety regulations. The injured individuals received medical attention at the hospital.
