How grace found me just like Kelly Rowland – Annie Idibia recounts

Popular Nigerian actress Annie Idibia has expressed her love for American singer and actress Kelly Rowland after the latter shared an emotional story about her mother’s struggles.

In an Instagram video, Rowland, a former member of the iconic group Destiny’s Child, recounted the moment of purchasing her first home, marking a turning point as the first in her family to achieve this dream.
Rowland noted her mother’s resilience and hard work as a nanny and housekeeper, often taking on low-paying jobs to support their family.

This story resonated with Annie, who took to her Instagram story to share her own mother’s challenging journey.
In her message, Annie revealed that her mother faced even more formidable obstacles but ultimately found grace.

She expressed her commitment to providing her mother with a more comfortable life and promised to take her on trips around the world, acknowledging her sacrifices and affirming that she truly deserves it.
“I keep wondering why I love Kelly. The story is so close to mine; her mum was only a nanny and housekeeper. That’s what we call (house girl) in Naija. Mine was a bit worse!! But hey!! Grace found me,” Annie wrote.

She continued, “To my mother: I will take you round the world and give you the very soft life you deserve and more!! My mama’s name na GRACE, I’m a #childofgrace #grateful #favored #uniquelyblessed.”
