Seun Kuti, the Nigerian Afrobeat artist, says that some politicians have no shame in claiming that they wish to go to heaven despite the corrupt systems of governance in the country. During his live Instagram video, Kuti mocked politicians such as Yemi Osibanjo, who is also a pastor, for pursing an agenda which has no relation to the state of the nation. The ones in power are more concerned with the frivolous endeavor of achieving the so-called afterlife while continuously denying the agony the country is sentenced to.
According to Linda Ikejis Blog, Kuti further asserted that if Nigerian politicians made it into heaven after his death, he would most certainly pick hell, ”I would step outside,” he said and continue to add that the politicians in heaven was just another way to say that even the so-called afterlife had setback.
