In a message, Fabiyi reflected on the paths he has chosen as both an entertainer and a social advocate.
He stated, “When I make films, I want to entertain people, feed myself, build a legacy for myself, and enjoy my life, and this comes with many friends and admirers.”
However, he contrasted this with his work for justice, stating, “When I fight for justice, truth, and human rights, I want to help society, sacrifice for society, build a legacy, suffer pains, but come with little or no friends.”
Fabiyi made it clear that he is committed to his advocacy, stating, “I choose the latter. It is the path I wish to follow going forward; I want to give back to society. I still have huge consideration for the former, too.”
The actor’s comments come following recurrent allegations that he has faced assassination attempts due to his advocacy efforts.
In previous posts, he claimed that his life was in danger as a result of his fight for justice. He recently shared a video from the location where he was hiding before being transported to the airport.
