Adele announces indefinite break after seven years of hard work

World-renowned British singer Adele has revealed to fans that she is taking a well-deserved sabbatical.

The 16-time Grammy Award winner made the declaration during her concert in Munich on Saturday, explaining that after seven years of relentless work, she is ready to take a break and enjoy the fruits of her labour.
“It has been amazing, I just need a rest,” Adele told the audience. “I have spent the last seven years building a life for myself, and I want to live it now.”
The news of her sabbatical follows closely on the heels of another huge revelation.

During a performance in Munich on August 9, Adele confirmed her engagement to her American boyfriend, Rich Paul.

The couple’s engagement had been the subject of rumours, but the ‘Hello’ hitmaker put the rumours to rest by joyfully announcing her plans to get married.
