Renowned social media personality Daniel Regha has come forward with unsettling revelations regarding the barrage of death threats he’s been receiving due to his commentary on X.
During his appearance on the latest episode of the Rubbin’ Minds program on Channels Television, hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the controversial commentator shared details of the threats he’s been facing.
He admitted to taking precautions by altering his appearance when venturing out in public to evade confrontations with adversaries from social media.
Regha expressed the gravity of the situation, stating,
“Whenever I stepped out of the house, I’m always on nose mask because I don’t know who I am going to meet in public and would be like, ‘Finally, I’ve caught you.’”
He elaborated further, revealing,
“I get threats a lot. Of recent, some people told me that they are going to shoot me if they see me in Lagos, Ibadan or Benin. They even put R.I.P emojis, some even put guns and axes. It’s scary sometimes. But I just pray and ask God for protection.”
In response to inquiries about whether he perceives himself as a rebel, Regha adamantly refuted such personality, stating, “I’m not a troll. Definitely not!”
